Los Angeles Dodgers SP Chris Withrow is being converted from a starting pitcher to a reliever, and 3B Pedro Baez is making the transition to a hard-throwing relief pitcher. "They put him on the mound in instructional league and that fastball is really strong," pitching coach Rick Honeycutt said of Baez, who turns 25 next month. "You talk about Kenley when you see the ball come out of his hand. He hasn't been overwhelmed by thinking too much about pitching. He just sees the glove and throws it and that's kind of refreshing."

Los Angeles Dodgers SS Dee Gordon and 3B Pedro Baez were both selected to play in the 2010 All-Star Futures Game, according to MLB.com's Bailey Stephens.
