Los Angeles Dodgers P Zach Lee allowed one run in two-thirds of an inning with a strikeout and walk Thursday, March 3, in a minor league "B" game against the Chicago White Sox, reports Ken Gurnick, of MLB.com.

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed first-round pick P Zach Lee to a deal that included a $5.25 million signing bonus to be paid over the next five years, ESPNLosAngeles.com's Tony Jackson reports. It was the largest signing bonus awarded to a draft pick in team history. Lee gave up a scholarship to play football at Louisiana State University and was believed to be one of the hardest picks to sign.

Los Angeles Dodgers P Zach Lee, the team's first-round pick this year, has enrolled at Louisiana State, the Los Angeles Times' Dylan Hernandez reports. LSU head football coach Les Miles said Lee intends to play football and baseball at the university. Lee was believed to be one of the toughest players to sign in the draft because of his $5 million demand to skip college. Many believe the Dodgers took him with the intentions of not being able to sign him to save money.

Los Angeles Dodgers P Zach Lee, the team's first pick in the 2010 draft, had previously signed a letter of intent to play football and baseball at Louisiana State, according to ESPNLosAngeles.com's Tony Jackson. There have been various reports stating that the Dodgers drafted Lee because they knew he wouldn't sign, saving themselves the $1-2 million they would spend on a low first-round pick. ESPN.com is reporting that Lee is seeking a signing bonus of $5 million.
