Kansas City Royals SS Christian Colon was promoted from Double-A Northwest Arkansas to Triple-A Omaha. He hit .289 with five homers, 27 RBIs and 12 steals in 273 at-bats at Double-A.

Updating a previous report, the Kansas City Royals officially signed SS Christian Colon, their first-round pick, to an undisclosed deal Friday, June 25, according to The Kansas City Star. Colon will be assigned to Single-A Wilmington.
