Jets | Eyeing Greg Inglis?

The New York Jets have shown interest in Australian rugby player Greg Inglis, reports The Star-Ledger's Jenny Vrentas, citing The Sun-Herald. A "senior official" from the Jets' player personnel department made an "unsolicited approach" to Inglis, inquiring about his availability for a tryout in New York. A representative from the Australian-based NFL scouting agency OzPunt said Inglis would project as a punt returner or outside linebacker. Inglis currently plays for the Melbourne Storm of the National Rugby League.
