Cincinnati Bengals SS Taylor Mays was running with the first team this week at practice, but he really struggles in coverage and is too stiff. The team might move a cornerback to couple with FS Reggie Nelson. If so, CB Nate Clements might be that player. SS Jeromy Miles is a player the Bengals really like, and he might emerge as a starter with a strong training camp and preseason.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer feels SS Jeromy Miles has the skill set to play cornerback if needed. Zimmer isn't ruling out any of his safeties chipping in at the cornerback position if it fits the team's package.
