Martin is listed as out for the Week 3 game against the Arizona Cardinals, while the other three are considered questionable. OT Joe Staley (knee) was limited in practice, and he is listed as probable. DE Justin Smith (non-injury related) was a full participant Friday, and he is probable for Week 3.

He was carted off the field, and was in obvious pain walking out of the locker room after the game. If he cannot play in Week 12 against the Washington Redskins Monday, Nov. 25, CB Tramaine Brock would start at right cornerback, with CB Eric Wright serving in nickel situations.

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers CB Tramaine Brock played so well in Week 5 against the Houston Texans, head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Monday, Oct. 7, that Brock has earned the right to remain the team's No. 3 cornerback ahead of CB Nnamdi Asomugha (knee). "Really pleased with the way Tramaine is ascending," Harbaugh said. "When you play like that, you're going to continue to play." Brock has two interceptions in Week 5, including a pick that was returned for a score.
