New York Giants FS Stevie Brown says the expectations are different for him in 2013. Instead of trying to make the team, coaches are expecting things out of Brown this year. "I didn't have to do interviews with this many cameras (last year)," the Giants' safety said. "I just got to eat lunch and go back. But it's definitely a little bit different. Coaches talk to you in a different way. Players talk to you in a different way. It's not about keeping it going, keeping your head focused and see if you can try to make this team. Now it's like we're going to need things from you this year and expect things from you."

The New York Giants want FS Stevie Brown to be more versatile now that he is a full-time starter. Having a full training camp to work as a starter will help Brown become the interchangeable safety the club wants him to be. "We already know he's a ballhawk and can go and he can go get the ball and do something with it once he gets it," FS Antrel Rolle said Tuesday, Aug. 6. "Now he's showing us that he can play in the box and definitely be a versatile safety."
