Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith said the team has not added an offensive lineman in free agency because they are comfortable with the linemen they have on the roster. He said he is comfortable with OT J'Marcus Webb at left tackle but is not ruling out the possibility of moving OT Gabe Carimi to left tackle.

Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith said OT J'Marcus Webb remains "part of our future" despite having a rather uneven season in 2011. "J'Marcus is a heck of a football player," Smith said. "I'll just start out with that. We like him. As far as having a couple bad games, I had a lot of bad games. I think everybody on our team had more bad games than we needed to this past year."

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice said he believes OT J'Marcus Webb can be the left tackle of the future for the team but he will have to improve his play. Tice said he thinks Webb will be able to work in his play with the coaches during the offseason to improve some parts of his game.
