Baltimore Orioles C Caleb Joseph will likely start the season as the team's primary catcher with C Matt Wieters (elbow) headed to the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Daily leagues are the ones where Joseph owners could see the most benefit, as Joseph will see time behind the plate for at least a few weeks. As for other leagues, Joseph carries lesser fantasy value because Wieters will eventually return to active duty.

Baltimore Orioles C Matt Wieters (elbow) is scheduled to have Tommy John surgery on the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow Tuesday, June 17. His recovery time is expected to be nine months.
Fantasy Tip: You can safely drop Wieters in all redraft leagues. The good news is that he should be able to be ready to go for opening day in 2015. The Orioles, unless they make a play for a trade, are expected to continue on with a combination of Caleb Joseph, Steve Clevenger and Nick Hundley.
