WR Donald Jones (calf), LB Shawne Merriman (Achilles'), LB Kelvin Sheppard (undisclosed), CB Justin Rogers (undisclosed), TE Shawn Nelson (undisclosed) and WR Marcus Easley (undisclosed) all missed practice, too. CB Drayton Florence (cramps) suffered cramps toward the end of practice, while LB Danny Batten (undisclosed) was shaken up on a play after a heavy hit.

Head coach Chan Gailey said, "He's getting better. We'll see where that takes us. He won't be ready this week, probably next week either. He'll probably be lucky to get the last couple (of practices)."
