Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria batting third

Fri, 26 Jun 2015 13:10:39 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria is batting third against Los Angeles Dodgers SP Brett Anderson Friday, June 26.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is sporting a .340/.411/.540 slash line against lefties this season, although, he is also currently mired in an 8-for-44 slump. FantasyScore players should view him as a high-risk, high-reward option. Batting third certainly helps his case, though.

Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria up to two-hole

Thu, 18 Jun 2015 13:35:24 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria is batting second against New York Yankees SP CC Sabathia Thursday, June 18.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) receives a nice boost hitting higher in the order. And although he is currently riding a 4-for-20 stretch, he has a 1.042 OPS over 48 plate appearances against southpaws this season. Plus, Sabbathia boasts a 5.38 ERA this season. He presents nice value for FantasyScore players Thursday.

Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria shines atop lineup

Thu, 11 Jun 2015 20:03:30 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria, hitting leadoff for the first time this year, went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in a 6-0 win over the Colorado Rockies Thursday, June 11.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) was leading off because Dee Gordon was given the night off, and assuming he returns to the bottom of the order in Miami's next game, he is a much less attractive option at FantasyScore.

Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria leading off

Thu, 11 Jun 2015 13:55:54 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria is leading off against Colorado Rockies SP Chris Rusin Thursday, June 11.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) receives a fantasy boost setting the table for the Marlins, and he stands as a worthy mid-priced shortstop target with upside for FantasyScore players Thursday. He has at least one hit in eight of his last nine games with six runs, a home run, five RBI and a .323/.344/.548 slash line during the span.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) missed three games while dealing with a shoulder injury. Although he's had a fine season (.300-2-20), you may want to hold off on using him on FantasyScore in his first game back from a short break.

Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria remains out

Mon, 01 Jun 2015 13:10:42 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup Monday, June 1. INF Donovan Solano will be the starting shortstop for the Marlins.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) probably should be considered day-to-day at this point, and owners should monitor the situation. Solano ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has recorded two hits and two RBI in his last two games but is not a great option on FantasyScore since he is hitting .194 this season.

Sun, 31 May 2015 09:02:07 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup Sunday, May 31. INF Donovan Solano will take his place in the lineup.

Fantasy Tip: There is no timetable for Hechavarria ($4,000, 8.0% of cap), so owners should monitor the situation. Solano ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has received limited at-bats this season and is not a great option on FantasyScore since he is batting .188.

Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria not starting

Sat, 30 May 2015 11:00:57 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup against the New York Mets Saturday, May 30. He suffered a left shoulder injury after colliding with OF Christian Yelich during the ninth inning of the game Friday, May 29. The severity of the injury will not be known until after Hechavarria visits a doctor Saturday. INF Jhonatan Solano is starting at shortstop and batting eighth.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) is out of the lineup for the first time this season and will not play before Monday, June 1, in a best-case scenario. Solano ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) only has one hit in 17 at-bats this year and should be avoided in FantasyScore.

Marlins | Adeiny Hechavarria hitting second

Sun, 03 May 2015 08:05:28 -0700

Miami Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria will bat second in the order Sunday, May 3, against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Fantasy Tip: Hechavarria ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) has been red-hot with a .326 batting average and a .351 OBP. While his .375 BABIP will regress, Hechavarria makes for a strong FantasyScore start if he can remain ahead of Giancarlo Stanton in the order.
