The Tampa Bay Rays announced Monday, Feb. 4, that OF Wil Myers, along with 1B Leslie Anderson, INF Cole Figueroa and Ps Matt Nevarez, Jim Paduch, Jim Patterson and Neil Schenk will be invited to spring training.

The Associated Press reports the Tampa Bay Rays finalized their four-year, $1.75 million deal with Cuban 1B/OF Leslie Anderson Tuesday, April 13. Anderson has been assigned to extended Spring Training. He will receive a $500,000 signing bonus and either $125,000 in the minors or the minimum $400,000 in the majors. He can make an extra $350,000 annually in the majors based on plate appearances: $50,000 for 400, $75,000 for 450, $100,000 for 500 and $125,000 for 550.
