The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled C Konrad Schmidt from Triple-A Reno Tuesday, May 22, and optioned SP Patrick Corbin to Reno in a corresponding move. Schmidt was hitting .274 (32-for-117) with eight doubles, three homers and 14 RBIs in 31 games with Reno.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to terms with Ps Sam Demel, Barry Enright, Dan Hudson, Zach Kroenke, Brett Lorin, Wade Miley, Yonata Ortega, Joe Paterson, Bryan Shaw and Michael Zagurski, Cs Konrad Schmidt and Craig Tatum, OFs Cole Gillespie and David Winfree and 1B Paul Goldschmidt on one-year deals. They also renewed the contracts of SPs Josh Collmenter and Ian Kennedy, RP David Hernandez and OF Gerardo Parra. These moves mean that all players on the 40-man roster are now under contract for the 2012 season.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with Ps Josh Collmenter, Sam Demel, Barry Enright, Juan Gutierrez, David Hernandez, Dan Hudson, Juan Jaime, Zach Kroenke, Kam Mickolio, Kevin Mulvey, Jordan Norberto, Yonata Ortega, Joseph Paterson, Rafael Rodriguez, Carlos Rosa, Leyson Septimo, Daniel Stange, Brian Sweeney and Esmerling Vasquez, Cs John Hester and Konrad Schmidt, IFs Tony Abreu, Brandon Allen and Ryan Roberts and OF Cole Gillespie and Gerardo Parra, according to a team press release. All players on the 40-man roster are now under contract for the 2011 season.

Arizona Diamondbacks C Konrad Schmidt (shoulder) is out of the Arizona Fall League due to a tear in his left labrum, The Arizona Republic's Nick Piecoro reports. The Diamondbacks don't consider the injury to be too serious. Multiple doctors recommended the non-surgical/rest/strengthening route.

The Arizona Diamondbacks purchased the contract of C Konrad Schmidt from Double-A Mobile Monday, Sept. 13, according to The Arizona Republic. Schmidt hit .315 with 11 home runs and 65 RBIs in 107 games with Mobile this season.
