Baltimore Ravens WR David Reed (knee) suffered a season-ending left knee injury in the Week 16 game against the Cleveland Browns. "I made a cut on the kickoff return, and it buckled. My knee buckled," Reed said. "It's frustrating, but God's got his plan for me, and I've just got to let him work his magic." Reed's injury is believed to be a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh did not indicate whether WR David Reed will re-gain his starting kick returner job heading into Week 16. Reed ripped off a 47-yard return late in the Week 15 game. "We'll see," Harbaugh said. "It's not something we're prepared to make a statement on right now."

Baltimore Ravens WR David Reed will not be the kick returner in Week 11 after losing two fumbles during kick returns in Week 10. Special teams coordinator Jerry Rosburg said Reed could be used in the role again at some point.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday, Nov. 14, that the team is still searching for its primary kickoff returner after Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. WR David Reed fumbled twice in the loss in Seattle. "I think we're looking for our kick returner," Harbaugh said. The coach indicated CB Lardarius Webb is likely the top option, but he is too valuable on defense to expose to that much contact. CB Chris Carr and WR LaQuan Williams are also options.

Baltimore Ravens WR David Reed had three kickoff returns for 63 yards in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks, but he was also charged with two lost fumbles. Reed's only offensive statistics came on a 16-yard rush. After the game, head coach John Harbaugh was critical of Reed. "This is the NFL, you've got to hold onto the football," Harbaugh said.
