Texas Tech OG Brandon Carter said during the NFL Scouting Combine that he believes that transitioning to the NFL will be easy after playing in a spread offense in college. Carter said, "Every offensive lineman on the Texas Tech offensive line is like a tackle - you're all out on an island on your own. It took a lot of getting used to having the double teams and things like that in the East-West All-Star game but eventually it was kind of nice having help from either side of you." Carter added that he has talked to some Texas Tech linemen in the NFL about the transition and adjustments they needed to make in the NFL. "They said it's a lot easier; you'll get used to it. It's just the competition level that rises. That's the only thing."
