Cleveland Browns TEs Gary Barnidge, Rob Housler and Jim Dray could all end up taking over for TE Jordan Cameron, who is now with the Miami Dolphins. Head coach Mike Pettine said the three tight ends provide some diversity and can be used in different ways.
Fantasy Tip: Barnidge and Housler are probably the bigger receiving threats, and thus would be more valuable in fantasy leagues. If a platoon does indeed take form, however, none of them would be worth starting as your every-week tight end.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) didn't practice all week, and he won't be available to play in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also missed two games in 2012 and one last year due to concussions. TEs Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge will carry the load without Cameron playing. Dray has nine catches for 118 yards and a touchdown this year, while Barnidge has five grabs for 54 yards.
Fantasy Tip: With prior experience with concussions, Cameron isn't a sure thing to play next week, either. Dray is the better fantasy play this weekend, but he's a lottery ticket at FantasyScore. The absence of Cameron could benefit Andrew Hawkins and Miles Austin more in a friendly matchup against the Bucs.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (shoulder) is inactive for the Week 2 game Sunday, Sept. 14. TEs Gary Barnidge and Jim Dray are expected to fill in for him.
Fantasy Tip: Barnidge and Dray don't warrant fantasy consideration. This is a blow to Brian Hoyer, who had limited options to throw to with Cameron healthy. Hoyer will cost you $4,500 (9% of your cap) on FantasyScore this week, but he should be avoided except in deep leagues.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (shoulder) is expected to miss the Week 2 game Sunday, Sept. 14. TEs Gary Barnidge and Jim Dray would fill in for him.
Fantasy Tip: Cameron was a pricey buy at $5,400 (10.8% of your cap) on FantasyScore this week, but you should avoid him altogether. Brian Hoyer's stock would also suffer if Cameron were to miss the game.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (shoulder) missed his second practice of the week Thursday, Sept. 11, and it's looking more likely that he won't suit up in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. He's dealing with a strained AC joint in his right shoulder after initially injuring it in the preseason. Cameron would be replaced by a tandem of TEs Gary Barnidge and Jim Dray Sunday, Sept. 14, if he can't play.
Fantasy Tip: Don't risk the $5,400 (10.8% of cap) on Cameron in FantasyScore lineups this weekend. Barnidge and Dray can be ignored, too, if Cameron sits out.

Thu, 13 Mar 2014 11:05:34 -0700
The Cleveland Browns have signed unrestricted free-agent TE Jim Dray (Cardinals) to an undisclosed contract.
Sat, 08 Mar 2014 19:43:05 -0800
Arizona Cardinals impending free agent TE Jim Dray seems to fit head coach Bruce Arians' desire for better blocking tight ends, and he will likely be given a chance to return.
