Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders logs seven grabs

Thu, 14 Dec 2017 21:14:24 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) caught a team-high seven passes for 68 yards prior to departing with an ankle injury against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Fantasy Tip: After four consecutive games of less than 20 receiving yards Sanders looked well on his way to reaching the century mark before his balky ankle acted up. Given how poorly most of his season has gone, however, it'd be a leap of faith to start Sanders even if he's healthy in Week 16.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders aggravates ankle

Thu, 14 Dec 2017 20:16:06 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) will not return against the Indianapolis Colts Thursday, Dec. 14, after aggravating an ankle injury.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders was having his best game in quite some time, but he just can't seem to completely shake his ankle injury. If Sanders misses more time, it should only bolster Demaryius Thomas' fantasy floor.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders off injury report

Wed, 13 Dec 2017 14:53:32 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was able to practice fully on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 15 game against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has been horrible over his past four games, averaging just 13.5 yards per game. His last touchdown came back on Sept. 17, going nine straight games without a score. He hasn't been the same since injuring himself in mid-October and has devolved into more of a WR4 at this point.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders full go in practice

Tue, 12 Dec 2017 16:12:38 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Dec. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has struggled mightily over his last several games, partially due to erratic quarterback play. In four straight games Denver's deep threat has totaled just 54 yards. He is not a recommended start in the fantasy playoffs, but using him as a desperation flex in a good matchup versus the Indianapolis Colts is understandable.

Broncos | Full practice for Emmanuel Sanders

Mon, 11 Dec 2017 17:59:48 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) fully participated in practice Monday, Dec. 11.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders continues to be a disappointing option for owners and has four straight games with under 20 receiving yards. He will have a favorable matchup this week but may only be a flex option in deeper leagues.

Broncos | One catch for Emmanuel Sanders

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 19:44:28 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders caught one pass for 16 yards in a 23-0 win over the New York Jets in Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has now been held below 20 receiving yard in four straight games, and between his ankle injury and the poor quarterback play in Denver, it's tough to justify starting Sanders right now.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders will be in uniform

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 12:10:27 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is officially active in the team's Week 14 game.

Sat, 09 Dec 2017 21:08:29 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable to face the New York Jets in Week 14, but he will play, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: The injury and poor quarterback play have led to a rough stretch for Sanders, but he could be worth a flier as a flex option against a Jets defense that has allowed the second-most receiving touchdowns this year.

Broncos | Coach expects Emmanuel Sanders to play

Sat, 09 Dec 2017 11:57:51 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is expected to play in Week 14 even though he is listed as questionable, according to head coach Vance Joseph. Joseph said Sanders has been dealing with a sore ankle for a few weeks.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders' injury has affected his play recently since he has recorded only 38 total yards over the last three games. He probably will be in uniform against the New York Jets but will not be a great fantasy option and can be benched by owners.

Fri, 08 Dec 2017 16:39:30 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 8, and is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders returns to practice

Thu, 07 Dec 2017 15:42:30 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Dec. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has been bothered by an ankle ailment as of late, and that combined with bad quarterback play has saddled the eight-year veteran with some poor numbers on the campaign. He's been especially disappointing as of late, having accumulated just seven catches for 38 yards combined over his last three contests. As a result, it's very difficult to trust him right now in any format.

Sun, 03 Dec 2017 18:49:25 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders caught two passes on seven targets for 11 yards in a 35-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 13.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has now been held to 15 yards or less in three straight games, and poor quarterback play has destroyed his fantasy value. At this point, he is a desperation flex option.

Fri, 01 Dec 2017 14:56:25 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday, Dec. 1, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 13 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders is ready to roll for the Broncos, and he is a solid WR2 across most fantasy formats. He has been the best Denver receiver this season despite upheaval at the quarterback position.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders takes part in practice

Thu, 30 Nov 2017 15:42:16 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 30.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has posted only 27 yards over the last two games but may be more involved in the passing game with Trevor Siemian back in the lineup. He could be a flex option in some leagues, but owners can bench him if they have better options available.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders does not practice

Wed, 29 Nov 2017 15:11:15 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 29, as he rested his ankle injury.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has been able to play recently after missing a handful of games, but he has been limited to 30 or fewer yards in three of his four outings since returning. It also hasn't helped that there is a quarterback carousel in Denver, and that's tamping down the production of Sanders, too.

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 19:37:38 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders caught three passes on six targets for 12 yards in a 21-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders has been held under 20 yards in back-to-back games, and the quarterback situation in Denver isn't doing him any favors. Regardless of who us under center in Week 13, Sanders is no more than a WR3.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders will play

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 12:29:59 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 12 game.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders will be working with his third quarterback this season but should receive his normal workload against the Oakland Raiders. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders likely to play

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 05:35:08 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is expected to play in Week 12's game against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders was listed as questionable on the injury report and was a limited participant during the team's two most recent practice sessions during the week. He should be viewed as a somewhat risky WR3 or flex option due to Denver's shaky quarterback situation.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders limited again

Fri, 24 Nov 2017 15:20:49 -0800

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 24, and is listed as questionable for Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders should have a decent chance to play in Week 12 as long as he does not suffer a setback in the next few days. He will be working with his third quarterback of the season this week, which makes him a risky option for owners. He can be at least a flex option if owners decide to use him.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders listed as questionable

Fri, 24 Nov 2017 12:08:02 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders was held out of practice Wednesday, but he returned Thursday and is expected to play against the Raiders' dreadful pass defense. Working against him is the fact Paxton Lynch will be making his first start of the season, although the two showed some chemistry with each other in their limited time together last year. The quarterback situation makes him more of a WR3 this week, but there is upside for much more if Lynch proves to be an upgrade.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders limited

Thu, 23 Nov 2017 14:58:55 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 23.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders appears to have a chance to play in Week 12, so owners should continue to monitor the situation. He will be working with another new quarterback if he plays in Week 12 but has posted solid numbers in 2017. He can be at least a No. 3 receiver if he plays.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders returns to practice

Thu, 23 Nov 2017 09:46:35 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Nov. 23.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders will have inexperienced Paxton Lynch throwing to him against a midrange Oakland Raiders defense against the position the last five weeks. He's a WR3 with minimal upside.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders misses practice

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 15:45:06 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should keep an eye on the situation to see if Sanders is in any danger of missing Week 12. He has been bit inconsistent this season and has been held to 30 yards or less in two of the last three games. Sanders will be playing with a new quarterback but can still be a No. 3 fantasy receiver if he plays.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders leads the way

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 05:27:46 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders had six catches for a game-high 137 yards in the Week 10 loss to the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: The yardage was nearly double his previous season high in what has been a disappointing year. He's still a solid WR3 in fantasy against the Cincinnati Bengals next week.

Sat, 11 Nov 2017 21:45:37 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is expected to play against the New England Patriots in Week 10, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders faces a juicy matchup against one of the NFL's most generous secondaries, but having Brock Osweiler under center caps Sanders' value in the WR3 range.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders still questionable

Fri, 10 Nov 2017 11:05:29 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable on the injury report in advance of the team's game versus the New England Patriots in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders was upgraded to a full practice Thursday, so he's about as much of a lock to play Sunday night as players with questionable tags can be. Although he gets a plus-matchup against the New England Patriots, Brock Osweiler's presence as the starting quarterback likely leaves Sanders as a WR3 in fantasy with a limited ceiling.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders logs full practice

Thu, 09 Nov 2017 16:16:28 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 9, one day after he was a limited participant.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders made his return to action in last week's blowout loss to the Eagles and didn't contribute much, garnering just a single 30-yard reception, but this news would seem to indicate he's getting back closer to full health. However, with Brock Osweiler under center now, he's merely a WR3 for the moment.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders limited in practice

Wed, 08 Nov 2017 16:02:02 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders made his way back from an ankle injury last week, but he managed just one grab. He is a risky fantasy play on Sunday Night Football, as the quarterback play in Denver has been shoddy lately and it's not known if he is quite 100 percent. Start him at your own risk.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders posts just one grab

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 18:00:11 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was limited to one catch for 30 yards on five targets in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: The good news was that Sanders was back after missing the past two outings, but the bad news was his return meant very little to the overall success of the Broncos offense. He remains more of a WR3 heading into Week 10 when the Patriots come calling.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders to play in Week 9

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 05:49:00 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) will play in Week 9's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders was a limited practice participant throughout the week and had been listed as questionable on the injury report after missing the previous two games with a sprained right ankle. Although the Eagles' passing defense is ranked 27th in the NFL, Sanders makes a risky fantasy play because of the Broncos' less-than-ideal quarterback situation, combined with the possibility that he could see limited snaps. Don't trust him as anything more than a WR3 this afternoon.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders limited in practice

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 13:57:24 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Friday, Nov. 3, and he is questionable for the Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders is a risky fantasy play since he hasn't yet been able to practice on a full basis. It might be tempting to use him against the league's 27th ranked passing defense, but only do so out of desperation. He still might end up inactive on Sunday, so check back on game day for the latest.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders questionable for Week 9

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 10:41:54 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: Sanders is expected to start after getting in a limited week of practice after missing the past two games with a sprained ankle he suffered in Week 6. In his absence, the Broncos' offense has bottomed out and turned to Brock Osweiler, meaning it will be difficult to trust Sanders as much more than a WR3.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders should return

Thu, 02 Nov 2017 13:20:20 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is expected to return to action this week against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to head coach Vance Joseph.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos need Sanders back in a big way for their passing offense, especially with a new starting quarterback. It will be hard to bench Sanders in a favorable matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles secondary, but don't expect as much from him coming off the injury on the road with a different quarterback.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders practices Wednesday

Wed, 01 Nov 2017 11:30:00 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday, Nov. 1, for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in Week 6 and is expected to suit up for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: While Trevor Siemian's poor recent play hasn't helped matters, it's probably not a coincidence the Broncos' offense has went into the tank with Sanders missing the last two games and part of a third. Whether or not Brock Osweiler makes a difference is debatable, but Sanders will be remain a high-end WR3 at worst as a receiver who should receive at least seven targets on a weekly basis.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders expects to return soon

Mon, 30 Oct 2017 16:51:02 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) believes he will be able to play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9.
