Despite the addition of Arizona QB Nick Foles in the third round of the NFL Draft Friday, April 27, head coach Andy Reid said he has a lot of confidence in backup QB Mike Kafka. "We all know (quarterback) is a pretty important position. When you see one you like, you snag him up," Reid explained about the Foles addition.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick (ribs) is not practicing Wednesday, Nov. 16, and it's uncertain if he will be able to play in Week 11 against the New York Giants. The next few days will be telling for his availability. QBs Vince Young and Mike Kafka will share the repetitions in practice this week, but head coach Andy Reid wouldn't say which one would start if Vick can't go.

He declined to say whether QB Vince Young or QB Mike Kafka would get the nod if Vick is out. Young is 2-0 in his career against the New York Giants, the team's Week 11 opponent.
