New York Jets OG Stephen Peterman took some reps at backup center in practice Wednesday, Aug. 21, apparently signaling that the team isn't comfortable with OG Caleb Schlauderaff or C Erik Cook as the backup center.

Redskins | More offensive line changes to come?

The Washington Redskins might be forced to make changes to the offensive line again in Week 11. OG Maurice Hurt (knee) and OT Sean Locklear (ankle) are nursing injuries. If Hurt cannot play, C Will Montgomery might be used at guard, with C Erik Cook moving in at center. If Locklear is unable to go, OT Tyler Polumbus might draw his first start with the team, or OT Willie Smith might get the call.

Redskins | Might shuffle offensive line in Week 9

Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan indicated the possibility exists that the offensive line might be reshuffled heading into the Week 9 game. C Will Montgomery might move from guard to center, and C Erik Cook also might be an option at guard. OL Maurice Hurt might also get a look at the guard position.

Redskins | Revamped offensive line so-so in Week 7

Washington Redskins C Erik Cook, OT Sean Locklear and C Will Montgomery started in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. Cook started at center, Locklear at left tackle and Montgomery moved from center to left guard. They helped get the running game going, but they also played a role in allowing three sacks.

Redskins | O-line a mess

Washington Redskins OT Sean Locklear will start at left tackle and C Erik Cook will be at center against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. OG Will Montgomery is moving from center to left guard. TE Logan Paulsen will replace TE Chris Cooley (finger) and will mostly be used for blocking purposes.
