Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek had two receptions for nine yards in Week 3 against the New York Giants, as he continues to be a non-factor in the offense. Even backup TE Clay Harbor posted 17 yards on a reception.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek (leg) suffered a lower body or leg injury in the second quarter of the Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons after a reception. He was able to walk off on his own power. TE Clay Harbor replaced him.

Eagles | More blocking for TEs in Week 2?

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek was required to stay in the box and help the offensive line pass-protect more than 50 percent of the time in Week 1 against the St. Louis Rams. Celek and backup TE Clay Harbor often will be out in front of QB Michael Vick blocking, as offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg utilizes extra blockers to cut off blitzes. "Brent played a really good game. Going back to watch film, it was a perfect game," Harbor said. "He picked up blitzes every time. He blocked (defensive ends) one-on-one."

Smith (knee) and OG Danny Watkins (foot) are all listed as probable for Week 1. All players practiced in full Friday, Sept. 9, except for Samuel, who was limited.
