Hardy made roughly $8.8 million last year, and he had six sacks and 32 quarterback pressures in 2015. Hardy's off-field concerns will be factored into the decision.

The Dallas Cowboys are unlikely to use the franchise tag this year after they used it on WR Dez Bryant last year. DE Greg Hardy has it written into his contract that Dallas cannot use the tag on him in 2016. The Cowboys wouldn't have used it on Hardy anyway, since he had just six sacks in 12 games in 2015.

LB Sean Lee (hamstring) and CB Morris Claiborne (hamstring) are questionable for the game, and OG La'el Collins (ankle) is doubtful. Street, Hardy and Lawrence were full participants in practice Friday, Jan. 1. Heath, Wilber, Mincey and Claiborne were limited during practice, and Lee and Collins did not practice Friday.

Dallas Cowboys DE Greg Hardy and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, are interested in a contract extension with the Cowboys, according to sources. Jerry and Stephen Jones mentioned that the team was interested in signing Hardy to an extension, but it's unknown if any offers have been exchanged. Hardy has played in just two games since his suspension and already has three sacks. He can try to recapture some of the money his suspension cost him at the end of the year, so Dallas will have to pay him enough to deter him from testing the open market.
