While RBs Jahvid Best (concussion) and Mikel Leshoure (Achilles') are under contract, the team enters the offseason without a clear No. 1 running back. If Best and Leshoure return at 100 percent, the Lions will be in good shape -- however, that is tough to bank on at this point in time. RBs Joique Bell, Jerome Harrison and Keiland Williams are also under contract.

"I could see him playing some this game," Linehan said. "The expectation is to get to Sunday and see where we are. The other two guys (Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams) are ready to go. There is a scenario there where Kevin can play for us."

RBs Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams will also see increased action. "We've considered that," offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said. "We use him some (there), and did last year. He's definitely going to be in the mix. I don't know how much he'll get, but I can see him getting a few cracks at it." Logan has three carries for seven yards this year and had 15 for 95 yards last year.
