Washington Redskins OG Arie Kouandjio will make the first start of his career at left guard Sunday, Oct. 2, against the Cleveland Browns. OG Spencer Long will slide over from left guard to start at center. OG Shawn Lauvao (ankle) has already been ruled out for Week 4 and C Kory Lichtensteiger (calf) was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.

Washington Redskins CB Bashaud Breeland (ankle), CB Dashaun Phillips (hamstring) and OG Shawn Lauvao (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and have been ruled out for Week 4. DE Trent Murphy (elbow, shoulder) and DE Kendall Reyes (groin) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. DE Chris Z. Baker (elbow, toe), S Deshazor Everett (knee), CB Josh Norman (illness), OT Ty Nsekhe (foot) and OT Trent Williams (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Washington Redskins OG Spencer Long took more first-team snaps at left guard Wednesday, Aug. 17, than OG Shawn Lauvao (ankle, foot), but head coach Jay Gruden said Lauvao is still working himself back into shape. "You'll see more of (Lauvao) in the next couple of weeks and we'll see how he does. That's good competition," Gruden said.
