Updating a previous item, Marc Topkin, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports Tampa Bay Rays P Andrew Bellatti was released from the hospital Monday, Jan. 25, after sustaining minor cuts and bruises on his face.

The St. Petersburg Times' Marc Topkin reports Tampa Bay Rays P Andrew Bellatti was the driver in a California car accident that killed a 50-year-old man and injured two others. Bellatti sustained minor injuries after he was allegedly speeding at 80 mph and illegally crossed a double yellow line into oncoming traffic.
