Sat, 05 May 2012 07:55:33 -0700 Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee is ready to emerge as a team leader entering his third season. Lee said he would call out any issues that might arise among the players. "If there's something that needs to be addressed I have no problem addressing it," Lee said. "I think all my teammates realize that I have their back. I want to see them do the best. I want to see our team win a Super Bowl and be successful, so I have no problem stepping up and saying something if I find something that I feel is wrong."
Wed, 25 Apr 2012 07:18:43 -0700 Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee said he is optimistic heading into the 2012 season, and he believes the defense has made improvements. "I think we have a lot of optimism. If you look at last season, I think the biggest problem with the defense ... we weren't winning games in the fourth quarter, we weren't able to make big plays in the fourth quarter, we weren't able to execute consistently in the fourth quarter. There were a lot of positives that came out of it. I look at our defense and I think we took a step forward in a lot of areas."

"I feel Sean is a leader and that's based upon the reputation he had if you look back to him coming out of Penn State. But in looking at what he's done here, he does take a very active role in what we're doing intangibly right now. Obviously leadership has a certain amount of earn-your-stripes aspect to it. It would be inordinate and above expectations to have somebody come in that first year and be one of your apparent leaders to everybody," Jones said.
