Bills | Price happy to be back in Buffalo

Sat, 29 Jul 2006 09:17:26 -0700

Jay Skurski, of the Niagara Gazette, reports Buffalo Bills WR Peerless Price is happy to be back in Buffalo. He completed his first two practices of training camp Friday, July 28, at St. John Fisher College. "It went good. It went real good," he said. "I'm pleased with it. It's just a start for us as a team and for myself." Friday, Price spoke frankly on his time with the Atlanta Falcons. "I wanted out of Atlanta," he said. "I didn't like the situation." In returning to Buffalo, Price finds himself in a new role, one as a team leader. Like many positions on the roster this summer, there are plenty of questions surrounding the wide receivers. WR Lee Evans is slotted as the No. 1, though he's unproven. Price has filled the No. 2 spot during organized team activities and the start of camp, but after that, there will be plenty of battles for playing time.
