Arizona Cardinals LB Lorenzo Alexander is expected to get his chance to start at right outside linebacker, as he tries to unseat LB O'Brien Schofield. LB Jasper Brinkley is viewed as the starting strong inside linebacker, but he'll be challenged by LB Kevin Minter. LB Karlos Dansby is penciled in as a starter for now, but LB Daryl Washington is suspended for the first four games, and it is uncertain where he'll fit in. LB Sam Acho is likely to start at left outside linebacker, but he likely needs to increase his production to remain as the starter.

Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells, WR Andre Roberts, LB O'Brien Schofield and P Dave Zastudil will all see increases in their 2013 salary because of incentives in their contracts. Roberts and Schofield were scheduled to make $630,000 in 2013 but will now make $1.323 million. Wells' salary has gone from $1,157,500 to $1,407,500, and Zastudil has gone from $975,000 to $1.475 million.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said earlier Monday, Nov. 5, that he did not know the status of LB O'Brien Schofield (ankle) and was awaiting MRI results. However, Schofield posted on his official Twitter account that his season is over. "I'm out for the season. I'm sorry Cardinal fans. But I will be back and strong then ever. This yr was just a preview of why is to Come," was Schofield's Twitter message.
