"I wouldn't call it 50-50, but it's closer to 50-50 than it ever has been because (Spiller's) more confident and we have more confidence in him having experience now," said Gailey. "To me it's a win-win for everybody except them individually. It's a win-win for the team. It's a win-win for setting up game plans and for us making it through the season healthy. It's not a win-win for each of them individually because neither one of them will get the ball as much as they want to."

I'm going to come out here and compete. I feel like I have been competing. I feel like I have done everything I can. It's been like that for two or three years, and nothing has changed." He could ask for a trade if the Bills hand his job to Spiller. "If that's an avenue I have to take, I would definitely be open to it," Jackson said.

I still think he's going to be a very good to great player for the Buffalo Bills. There's no question in my mind about that. I think I'll do a better job this year of creating ways to move him more. When you're establishing what you're trying to get done offensively, you have a hard time deviating too much to do things for one guy to create things for one guy. We were in the process of evaluating everybody and trying to create things for everybody. It was a getting-to-know-you year."
