Buffalo Bills OT Cordy Glenn (illness) has been cleared to participate in team drills, according to head coach Doug Marrone. The team will see how he performs during practice before deciding if he will play in the third preseason game.
Fantasy Tip: Glenn has miss most of training camp because of an undisclosed illness but has time to prepare for the start of the season. His presence on the offensive line should help the values of EJ Manuel, C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, because he is a Pro Bowl player.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller has not been talked about with other teams, according to general manager Doug Whaley. "Again, no one, I'll tell you guys and you know I'm a straight shooter. We have not been contacted by any teams. I can probably see where people see our depth at running back and try to connect the dots with teams that don't have depth, but, again, nobody has contacted us," Whalen said.
Fantasy Tip: There was much excitement over Spiller leading up to last season, but he wound up being a huge disappointment after an ankle injury in Week 4 that he never really recovered from. Now, he's fully healthy again, but with Fred Jackson likely to cut into his touches, he's no longer a top-tier consideration at running back.

Buffalo Bills RBs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson will likely see the bulk of the action in Buffalo's backfield this year, barring any roster changes. Head coach Doug Marrone recently frowned upon the idea of utilizing three running backs.
Fantasy Tip: Spiller has recently been involved in trade rumors, though those rumors lack substance. Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon seem to be headed for not much more than backup roles.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller is staying focused on football despite being the subject of trade rumors. Spiller said he is excited to be with the Bills and hopes a deal can get worked out.
Fantasy Tip: Buffalo has one of the more crowded backfields in the league with Spiller, Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon. For now, Spiller should still be considered an RB2, though that could obviously change if he is traded.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller will likely touch the ball 20 times per game if the offense is operating efficiently, according to BuffaloBills.com.
Fantasy Tip: With his speed and big-play ability, Spiller could do some serious damage with 20 touches. However, he has been plagued by injuries throughout his career, and increasing his usage probably won't help in that regard. Spiller has RB1 upside, but draft him as an RB2 because of the injury concerns.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller recently said there's a noticeable difference in the team's running game with a year of experience under the new offensive system. At the same time, Spiller admitted there's still work to be done before the season starts.
Fantasy Tip: Spiller will be splitting time with Fred Jackson as usual this season, but he's expected to be used more after recovering from a nagging ankle injury that hindered him for the better part of the 2013 season. Spiller should be considered an RB2 with added value in PPR leagues.

Buffalo Bills WR Marquise Goodwin appears to be the leading candidate for the kick return job entering training camp but will have to compete with WR T.J. Graham, CB Leodis McKelvin, RB C.J. Spiller and WR Sammy Watkins for the job.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller has received reps as a kick returner during organized team activities this week and could be an option for the role this upcoming season.

Buffalo Bills RBs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson lined up in the same formation at times during organized team activities Friday, May 30. Jackson would line up at running back while Spiller would motion to different spots in the formation.

Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (ankle) said he feels great while taking part in organized team activities this week. Spiller wasn't the same after battling through an ankle injury for most of last season. "I don't feel nothing, I feel great," said Spiller. "This is the best I've felt since 2012 when I had that great year. The ankle feels wonderful. I just have to keep doing what I need to do to stay healthy this whole season and try to go out there and make plays."
Fantasy Tip: If Spiller returns back to full health and avoids injuries in 2014, he should be expected to be one of the more productive backs in the league, even with Fred Jackson sharing carries.
