Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles DL Jeff Owens (knee) is not likely to play in 2011 because of the seriousness of his injuries and timing of his surgeries, reports Adam Caplan, of FOXSports.com. Owens underwent surgery to repair a left knee patella tendon as well as microfracture surgery Wednesday, Jan. 5, by renowned Dr. James Andrews. He is also scheduled to have surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament at a later date.
