Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook was taking part in the team's offseason workout Wednesday, May 2, after missing most of the 2011 season with a legal situation. "Yeah, definitely, I feel like I have to earn trust again," Cook said. "I definitely let them down last year ... by missing the 10 games. I'm really looking forward to being a contributing factor to the team"

Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook finished the season on the 53-man roster, and the team is taking a wait-and-see stance with him. Cook is scheduled to go on trial in March in connection with an Oct. 22 incident in which he is charged with domestic assault by strangulation and third-degree assault. "There's so many unknowns with Chris," head coach Leslie Frazier said. "So, here we are on Jan. 3. I think it is, at this point Chris is not on my radar."
