New York Giants RB Charles Scott (undisclosed) was involved in a car accident in Louisiana earlier this week but did not suffer any career threatening injuries and should be fine. Scott did spend some time in a hospital's ICU but has been taken out of the unit. Scott's agent said Scott suffered cuts and bruises.

Louisiana State RB Charles Scott (clavicle) said he will do all of the running drills at the NFL Scouting Combine, but he will not do the bench press. Scott suffered a broken right clavicle during the season that needed to be plated with six screws. Scott says he is "waiting for my Pro Day just to try to get it back to full strength to do the bench press."

D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports University of Alabama RB Roy Upchurch has been added to the South roster for the 2010 Senior Bowl to replace Louisiana State RB Charles Scott (collarbone).
