Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) aggravated his left ankle injury in the Week 17 game against the Cleveland Browns, and again at practice Wednesday, Jan. 4. He will not play in the team's Wild Card game Sunday, Jan. 8, missing his second consecutive postseason game. He also missed Super Bowl XLV due to a high ankle sprain. The good news is that Pouncey was named first-team All-Pro by The Associated Press earlier in the day.

Pittsburgh Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) missed practice Thursday, Jan. 5, and could sit out the team's Wild Card playoff game. He felt discomfort after limited participation Wednesday, Jan. 4. "I don't know what the turnout is going to be," Pouncey said. Offense coordinator Bruce Arians said he is worried about Pouncey's availability for the game.
