Miami Dolphins SS Reshad Jones has changed his mind and will attend organized team activities Tuesday, May 21, after originally planning to sit out this week in an effort to convince the team to start contract negotiations with him. General manager Jeff Ireland said the two sides will "eventually" discuss an extension if Jones showed up.

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins SS Reshad Jones does not plan on attending organized team activities this week unless the team begins contract extension talks with him.

Miami Dolphins SS Reshad Jones was not present for the team's offseason conditioning session Monday, May 20. The reason for his absence is not known, but some teammates believe it is about his contract situation. It is not known if Jones will participate in the organized team activities this week.
