Thomas felt Tebow was often unable to find him in the passing game, even though Tebow threw him that famous slant pass in overtime of the Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. "I ain't going to say I was sad because the only thing they remember is that pass," Thomas said. "You gotta go back and look at the rest of the games. I wasn't getting no balls and you had to make some of these plays where some players were open and he is not making the throws. But I don't want to talk bad about Tim, but hey I am happy we got Peyton."

It appears the Vikings spent most of the gamme worrying about covering Decker which allowed Thomas to receive less attention and less coverage.

He suffered a torn Achilles' tendon less than seven months ago. Thomas will be under close supervision of the team's training staff as he works himself into football shape. He will begin his work on the scout team while he works his way back. The Broncos, who have only five receivers on roster including Thomas, are hopeful he will be able to return to game shape quickly.
