Steelers | Antonio Brown in top form

Fri, 26 Aug 2016 18:50:15 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught all four of his targets for 87 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints Friday, Aug. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Brown should be one of the first players off the board in leagues using standard scoring, and he should be the first player selected in PPR formats.

Steelers | PIT starters out second preseason game

Tue, 16 Aug 2016 08:42:56 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Le'Veon Bell, RB DeAngelo Williams and WR Antonio Brown won't play in the second preseason game Thursday, Aug. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Bell, Brown and Big Ben are all amidst the first pack in fantasy at their respective positions. D-Will is an RB3 as he'll take a backseat when Bell returns from his suspension.

Steelers | Pittsburgh to sit several players

Wed, 10 Aug 2016 11:15:00 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Le'Veon Bell, RB DeAngelo Williams, WR Antonio Brown and C Maurkice Pouncey will not play in the preseason game against the Detroit Lions Friday, Aug. 12.

Fantasy Tip: All of the players will be rested and should play in the next few preseason games. Brown likely will be one of the first players selected in drafts, while Bell probably will be a No. 1 running back once he returns from his suspension. Roethlisberger should also be a No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues. Williams will have increased value over the first month of the season with Bell out but should also be a flex option when Bell returns.

Lions | Darius Slay burned in joint practice

Wed, 10 Aug 2016 10:23:30 -0700

Detroit Lions CB Darius Slay was "dominated" by Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown in a joint practice session Tuesday, Aug. 9. Slay was surprised to see Brown run three consecutive deep routes against him and said he needs to do a better job against the deep ball.

Fantasy Tip: There isn't much to make of this from a fantasy perspective, but Slay is a rising star at the position and was given a reality check by arguably the game's best player. It only reaffirms the No. 1 overall value of AB in fantasy drafts.

Steelers | No Antonio Brown talks this summer

Thu, 04 Aug 2016 14:57:50 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown will not be negotiated with for a long-term contract this offseason. General manager Kevin Colbert said the Steelers are sticking to their philosophy of not negotiating with a player who has more than one year left on their contract.

Fantasy Tip: Brown will end up a Steeler for a long time, it just won't be this offseason. As long as he's healthy he should put up ridiculous numbers once again in 2016. He's the consensus choice as the first pick in PPR drafts, and really is deserving of the top choice in standard formats, too.

Steelers | Antonio Brown won't hold out

Wed, 27 Jul 2016 06:19:59 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown will report to training camp Thursday, July 28, despite displeasure with this contract. Brown is hopeful his contract situation will be addressed before the start of the season. He has $6.25 million and $8.71 million salaries the next two seasons.

Fantasy Tip: Brown's 2015 was absurd with 136 catches for 1,834 yards and 10 scores. He's arguably the top player in all of fantasy and should be one of the first picks in PPR formats.

Dolphins | Jarvis Landry working on footwork

Fri, 10 Jun 2016 18:12:35 -0700

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry has been working out with Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown and New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. in order to develop the footwork and feel to play outside receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Playing on the outside more often could lead to some big plays for Landry, but he should be a solid WR2 even if he remains in the slot and a borderline WR1 in PPR leagues.

Steelers | Antonio Brown torches rookie

Thu, 26 May 2016 18:42:41 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown beat CB Artie Burns for a pair of touchdowns in the first day of OTAs Thursday, May 26, and WR Darrius Heyward-Bey said he believes a 2,000-yard season is possible for Brown.

Fantasy Tip: Brown is a first-round option in any format, and he should be in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick in PPR leagues.

Steelers | Antonio Brown's dancing can help

Wed, 18 May 2016 16:40:45 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown believes his experience on Dancing With the Stars can give him an advantage on the football field. "[Dance training] can definitely help me with football, change of direction, fluidity, constantly being ready for the next move," Brown said. "Dancing is all about the next move, being prepared for the next move in the midst of any move. It will definitely help with ankle strength, pushing off, change of direction."

Brown also said that he wants to be a Steeler for his entire career, saying it would be an honor to receive a contract extension at some point. "I always want to be a Steeler for life. We will let those things take its course," said Brown, who has 3,532 yards and 23 touchdowns since 2014. "I'm excited to get back on the field. ... My focus right now is to show up and become the best player."

Fantasy Tip: As if Brown needed any more help on the field. He was already dominating opposing defenses and is widely considered to be the top real-life receiver and fantasy receiver. He's easily worth a first-round pick, especially in PPR leagues.

Steelers | Antonio Brown could return next week

Fri, 15 Jan 2016 09:23:44 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) said he plans to play in the AFC Championship game if the Steelers advance past the Denver Broncos in the divisional round this weekend.

Fantasy Tip: Brown would still have to pass the concussion protocol next week in order to play in the AFC title game. In his absence this weekend against Denver, Martavis Bryant ($6,800, 13.6% of cap) and Markus Wheaton ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) will have to step up against the top-rated pass defense. With an injured Ben Roethlisberger, it's understandable to be scared off at FantasyScore.

Steelers | Antonio Brown ruled out

Fri, 15 Jan 2016 06:37:18 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) was ruled out for the divisional game against the Denver Broncos Sunday, Jan. 17.

Fantasy Tip: Markus Wheaton ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) had six grabs for 62 yards and a score against Denver earlier this season. He'll be a midrange option on FantasyScore.

Steelers | Antonio Brown not cleared, sits again

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 13:26:55 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) has still not been cleared to practice and remained sidelined Thursday, Jan. 14.

Fantasy Tip: It's a wait-and-see game with Brown ($9,000, 18.0% of cap). He has sounded optimistic, but there are now just two days left for him to be cleared and to practice. If he is unable to play, Martavis Bryant ($6,800, 13.6%) and Markus Wheaton ($5,600, 11.2%) would ideally see more targets, but they face a really tough test in the Denver Broncos.

Steelers | Mike Tomlin talks Antonio Brown

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 13:19:36 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) is still in the NFL's concussion protocol despite saying he's good to go for this weekend's playoff game against the Denver Broncos. Head coach Mike Tomlin won't take any risks with Brown in the protocol, though. "We respect the protocol," Tomlin said. "We are going to adhere to it and follow it to the letter. He is going to participate fully in it. We will see where it leads us. Obviously, we are hopeful, but we are always hopeful. We are going to do what is right when it's said and done."

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($9,000, 18.0% of cap) may be itching to play this weekend, but he's a little too ambitious right now. All he can do is wait until he is cleared to practice. Keep checking back for updates on his status.

Steelers | Antonio Brown remains hopeful

Wed, 13 Jan 2016 20:37:16 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) has reportedly told at least one teammate that he has felt concussion symptoms, but he is hopeful they'll subside in time to pass concussion protocol for the AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: At least Brown ($9,000, 18.0% of cap) and his teammates aren't scheduled to play until Sunday, so he does get an extra day to get better. It will be touch and go all the way until then, and FantasyScore players are probably best off going another way. Martavis Bryant ($6,800, 13.6% of cap) and Markus Wheaton ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) would see an uptick in targets if Brown cannot go.

Steelers | No practice for Antonio Brown

Wed, 13 Jan 2016 13:13:09 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Jan. 13. He is still in the concussion protocol.

Fantasy Tip: There's not much Brown ($9,000, 18.0% of cap) and the Steelers can do except wait until he is cleared. Once he is cleared he'll be able to practice and then possibly play. The next couple of days will really shed light on Brown's availability for this weekend, so stay tuned.

Steelers | Antonio Brown heavily involved in '15

Tue, 12 Jan 2016 15:50:37 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown played 95.6% of the Steelers' snaps this season. Only Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (96.8%) played a higher percentage of his team's snaps.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($9,000, 18.0% of cap) was arguably the most prolific wide receiver this season in fantasy football and in real life. His high percentage of snaps played shows how well he maintained his health, but his status for this week's game against the Denver Broncos remains a question mark as he deals with a concussion. If Brown is unable to play, then Martavis Bryant ($6,800, 13.6%) and Markus Wheaton ($5,600, 11.2%) should see plenty of targets, although the Broncos have been the stingiest fantasy defense against wide receivers.

Steelers | Antonio Brown owned Denver last time

Tue, 12 Jan 2016 09:24:49 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown had 16 catches for 189 yards and two touchdowns in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos. "That game we weren't as physical as we know we could be," Broncos S Darian Stewart said. "We just didn't tackle as well. We have to be great tacklers again."

Fantasy Tip: This divisional round matchup will be different. It'll be in Denver this time, and the Broncos are likely to double cover Brown to slow him down. Also, Brown may not even play in the game after suffering a concussion in the wild-card contest. Keep tabs on Brown's status throughout the week, but as things look now, plan on avoiding him.

Steelers | Antonio Brown still in protocol

Tue, 12 Jan 2016 09:14:35 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol Tuesday, Jan. 12, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

Fantasy Tip: Brown isn't expected to play in the divisional game, based on early reports. Martavis Bryant ($6,800, 13.6% of cap) will be a focal point and a high-end WR2 on FantasyScore against the Denver Broncos.

Steelers | Antonio Brown's status in doubt

Mon, 11 Jan 2016 16:40:33 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) does not appear to have a good chance to play in the divisional round playoff game against the Denver Broncos Sunday, Jan. 17, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to watch Brown's practice participation during the week to see if he has any chance to play against the Broncos. Owners should have other options ready in case Brown sits out. Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton would start if Brown sits out and would be risky options against a tough Broncos defense.

Steelers | Antonio Brown in concussion protocol

Mon, 11 Jan 2016 10:18:57 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) is going through the concussion protocol after he suffered a concussion during the wild-card playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Brown will have to pass all of the concussion tests before he is cleared to play, so owners will need to monitor the situation. Brown will be a risky option on FantasyScore this week because of his injury as well as the uncertainty at the quarterback position for the Steelers.

Mon, 11 Jan 2016 07:27:17 -0800

Steelers | Antonio Brown suffered concussion

Sun, 10 Jan 2016 11:01:09 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (concussion) suffered a concussion on a hit from Cincinnati Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict in their wild-card matchup Saturday, Jan. 9.

Fantasy Tip: Brown's status will be one of the bigger questions all week as the Steelers prepare to play the Denver Broncos. If Brown can't clear the NFL's concussion protocol in time, he won't be able to play.

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 14:14:05 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught 13 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.

Fantasy Tip: Brown was one of the best wide receivers in fantasy this season and should be one of the best option entering the playoffs. Brown should be a starting option on FantasyScore no matter what the price.

Steelers | Antonio Brown held in check

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 16:13:53 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown finished with seven catches for 61 yards in a 20-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: While Brown still led the team in catches and yards, it was a disappointing performance for one of the elite fantasy receivers at FantasyScore.

Steelers | Antonio Brown is elite

Mon, 21 Dec 2015 09:29:02 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown is the first player in Steelers history to have back-to-back 1,500-yard seasons, and he's the second player in NFL history with three straight 100-catch seasons, with St. Louis Rams WR Wes Welker as the other. Brown is also the second player to have three straight years with 1,500 yards from scrimmage, with the other being Jerry Rice.

Fantasy Tip: Brown faced the league's No. 1 pass defense in Week 15 in the Denver Broncos and torched them for well over 100 yards and two touchdowns. Brown is a must-start in all formats and is worth his high daily price on a weekly basis.

Steelers | Antonio Brown hauls in 16 passes

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 18:23:47 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught 16 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-27 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: The vaunted Denver secondary couldn't slow down Brown, and as long as Ben Roethlisberger is under center, Brown is one of the elite options at receiver at FantasyScore.

Steelers | Jacoby Jones demoted

Tue, 08 Dec 2015 11:40:01 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Jacoby Jones has been demoted to the backup kick returner and third-string punt returner. WR Markus Wheaton is the top kick returner and is now the backup to WR Antonio Brown as the punt returner. Jones was benched in Week 13 after fumbling twice in the first half.

Steelers | Antonio Brown goes off again

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 19:24:41 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught eight of his 11 targets for 118 yards and scored two times in the Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Tip: Brown also returned a punt for a touchdown, thoroughly impressing his fantasy owners yet again. The bottom line is that as long as Ben Roethlisberger is flinging passes Brown's way, he's a legitimate WR1 and is a safe pick on FantasyScore more often than not.

Steelers | Markus Wheaton exploited matchup

Tue, 01 Dec 2015 11:13:08 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton's breakout in Week 12 was more than likely a result of the matchups the Steelers were given, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. Tomlin said that Wheaton and WR Martavis Bryant had more opportunities since Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman was covering WR Antonio Brown. Tomlin also said not to make too much of Wheaton's career day.

Fantasy Tip: Essentially, Tomlin is saying don't anticipate a big end of the season from Wheaton. Of course, Wheaton is still worth a pickup if he's available in your league, but Brown and Bryant are still Pittsburgh's top-two receivers; Wheaton basically just took over Brown's role for one game.

Steelers | Antonio Brown's effectiveness limited

Sun, 29 Nov 2015 17:48:52 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown posted six receptions for 55 yards in the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks. He was targeted 12 times.

Fantasy Tip: Brown was blanketed by Richard Sherman, so he was unable to get in on the offensive parade. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 456 yards, but a majority of the yardage went to Markus Wheaton, not Brown.

Steelers | Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant speedy

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 10:43:52 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WRs Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant are first and second in maximum speed, hitting 22.30 and 21.76 mph, respectively, with the ball in their hands this year. Bryant had three of the eight fastest speeds by a ball carrier with the ball in his hands in Week 10. Brown and Bryant combined for 317 yards and three touchdowns in Week 10 and drew 141 yards worth of pass interference penalties by the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Tip: We all know that Brown is an elite fantasy receiver and is a must-start every week. Bryant is gaining recognition, too, for his consistent big-play abilities. He's more valuable in standard leagues, but with Ben Roethlisberger back under center, Bryant is a force to be reckoned with in PPR leagues as well.

Steelers | Antonio Brown not slowing down

Tue, 17 Nov 2015 15:47:29 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown has caught 27 passes for 423 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the last two weeks while catching 73% of the passes thrown to him.

Fantasy Tip: Brown's ($9,000, 18.0% of cap) stat line was probably saved in Week 10 with Ben Roethlisberger having to come in early to replace the injured Landry Jones. Pittsburgh has a bye this weekend, but with Big Ben likely back under center for the stretch run, Brown remains an elite fantasy weapon every week.

Steelers | Antonio Brown busy in Week 10

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 16:25:21 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught 10 passes on 14 targets for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-9 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($8,700, 17.4% of cap) has hauled in 27 passes over the past two games, and as long as Ben Roethlisberger is under center, Brown is a must-start receiver at FantasyScore.

Steelers | Antonio Brown leans on Big Ben

Tue, 10 Nov 2015 13:54:29 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown averages 10 catches and 153 yards in the five games with QB Ben Roethlisberger this year compared to just four grabs and 59 yards without him.

Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger is expected to at least miss the next game, so Brown ($8,700, 17.4% of cap) isn't worth the high cost on FantasyScore in Week 10 against the Oakland Raiders with Landry Jones expected to be at the helm, despite the fact that the two hooked for a long gainer to close out the Week 9 contest.

Steelers | Antonio Brown dominates

Sun, 08 Nov 2015 14:59:36 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown caught 17 passes for 284 yards in Week 9 against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Wowzers! Brown had a monster first half and didn't take his foot off the pedal late in the game, even after QB Ben Roethlisberger (foot) left the game. Obviously, Brown is a must-start each week.

Steelers | Antonio Brown to get on track?

Wed, 21 Oct 2015 20:49:35 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7. The Chiefs have allowed an NFL-high 14 passing touchdown while yielding 276.7 yards per game through the air.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) has been struggling with Michael Vick, and then Landry Jones, under center in place of the injured Ben Roethlisberger. Those in standard fantasy formats need to stick it out with Brown, but those in FantasyScore still need to see some rapport with a QB other than Big Ben before taking a chance on Brown, regardless of the favorable matchup.

Steelers | Antonio Brown a non-factor

Sun, 18 Oct 2015 16:52:21 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown had three catches on six targets for 45 yards in a 25-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) has managed just eight catches for 87 yards in the two games since Ben Roethlisberger went down, and until he is back under center, Brown can't be counted on to live up to his price tag at FantasyScore.

Steelers | Antonio Brown wants more looks

Thu, 15 Oct 2015 09:56:45 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown wants QB Michael Vick to trust him more and take more downfield shots through the air. Brown has just nine catches for 87 yards and no touchdowns in the two games that Vick has taken over for QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee). "He's got to take some shots," Brown said. "I told him, trust me a little bit. Let me make some plays. Let's get a victory. It doesn't have to be that hard." Vick is allowed to call audibles at the line of scrimmage but hasn't done it much because he's trying to gain a "complete understanding" of the offense. Brown has been targeted 15 times in the last two games by Vick, compared to 35 targets in the first three weeks of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) and the Steelers face a very good and aggressive defense in the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6, and Brown will likely be shadowed by one of the best shutdown corners in the league in Patrick Peterson. That's not a recipe to pay up for on FantasyScore.

Steelers | Antonio Brown underperforms again

Mon, 12 Oct 2015 22:12:22 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown had three receptions for 45 yards in the Week 5 game against the San Diego Chargers Monday, Oct. 12. He was targeted six times.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($8,600, 17.2% of cap) has struggled to put up numbers since Ben Roethlisberger went down to injury in St. Louis. At this salary level Brown should be avoided in FantasyScore, as he is way overpriced since he doesn't have Michael Vick's eye like he does Big Ben's.

Steelers | Michael Vick's timing off in offense

Wed, 07 Oct 2015 10:27:59 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown said the timing with QB Michael Vick was off last week as he filled in for QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee). "I think (Mike Vick's passes) just come out a little bit later than Ben's," Brown said. "I don't think Mike Vick has yet adjusted to the timing of how we run things. His balls come out later in the routes, at the top of your route. You just have to get the timing down and make sure we're on the same page."

Fantasy Tip: It was evident in last Thursday's game that Vick ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) wasn't on the same page as his receivers, and you have to downgrade all of the players in the aerial game for Pittsburgh with Big Ben out. Brown ($8,700, 17.4% of cap) remains a must-start in traditional fantasy leagues, but you should certainly be hesitant to pay up for him on FantasyScore as long as Vick is running the show.

Steelers | Antonio Brown sees streak end

Fri, 02 Oct 2015 10:03:00 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown's streak of 35 straight regular season games with at least five catches and at least 50 yards ended in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4 Thursday, Oct. 1. He finished with five catches for 42 yards. The timing of Brown and QB Michael Vick looked off several times in the contest.

Fantasy Tip: The fears of Brown ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) owners that he would suffer with Ben Roethlisberger (knee) out for around a month have come true. It might not be as bad as it was Thursday night moving forward, but you definitely have to downgrade the top fantasy wide receiver a bit as a result. His high price at FantasyScore should certainly scare many away in the weeks to follow.

Steelers | Antonio Brown could suffer with new QB

Thu, 01 Oct 2015 10:12:16 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown's production could suffer with QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) out four to six weeks. Brown credits astounding chemistry he has with Roethlisberger on and off the field to their success. Roethlisberger throws to Brown about 30% of the time on broken plays, and QB Michael Vick has had accuracy issues.

Fantasy Tip: Brown's ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) value could suffer a brownout, but not a complete blackout. He's talented enough to tally numbers with a toddler throwing to him. However, at this price tag, we understand second-guessing against the Baltimore Ravens on FantasyScore this week.

Steelers | Antonio Brown loses his quarterback

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown posted 11 receptions for 108 yards in the Week 3 game against the St. Louis Rams. He was targeted 13 times.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) has been a FantasyScore stud in every game this season, but his value takes a bit of a hit losing Ben Roethlisberger to a multiple-week knee injury. With Michael Vick under center Brown will have slightly less value, but he remains a top-notch receiver in all fantasy formats.

Steelers | Antonio Brown receives bonus

Tue, 01 Sep 2015 15:51:52 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown received a $2 million signing bonus as part of the restructured contracts of Brown, TE Heath Miller and PK Shaun Suisham, according to sources. Brown's salary increased to $8 million from $6 million.

Fantasy Tip: The Steelers know they have one of, if not the, best wide receivers in the NFL. Brown tallied 129 catches for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns last year. He should be the first receiver off draft boards in fantasy leagues.

Steelers | PIT restructures contracts

Tue, 01 Sep 2015 11:13:57 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown, TE Heath Miller and PK Shaun Suisham all had their contracts restructured Tuesday, Sept. 1. The restructuring created about $6 million in salary cap space for the Steelers, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: This shouldn't have much of an impact on these three players as far as fantasy football is concerned. Brown is still arguably the top fantasy wideout. Miller is a TE2.

Steelers | No change for Antonio Brown's contract

Thu, 20 Aug 2015 14:09:39 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown won't be receiving a new contract anytime soon, according to general manager Kevin Colbert. Colbert said it has been the organization's long-standing policy not to rework a non-quarterback contract with more than a year still left on that player's current contract.

Fantasy Tip: Brown is still young, and he'll see more money someday. He's arguably the best overall wide receiver in real-life football and in fantasy football. He's worth selecting as the first wide receiver in fantasy drafts.
