Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown restructured his contract to convert $5.2 million of his $6 million salary to a signing bonus, which freed up $3.9 million in salary cap space. It pushes that $3.9 million into equal installments of $1.3 million in additional cap accounting on Brown in the seasons of 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could ask WR Antonio Brown and LB Lawrence Timmons to restructure their contracts in order to create some salary cap space. The team could create as much as $8 million if the two players agreed to restructure their deals.

Pittsburgh Steelers LB Terence Garvin could face a fine for his hit on Cincinnati Bengals P Kevin Huber (jaw/neck), who was placed on injured reserve Monday, Dec. 16. For his part, Garvin said he wasn't trying to aim for Huber's jaw. "I just saw a white shirt ...I was just trying to throw a block to spring (Antonio Brown), "Garvin said. "I thought I hit him in his chest; I was aiming for his chest. ... I didn't feel it, but I'm sure he felt it a little bit. It was a pretty good hit; I felt I got all of him, for the most part."

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown went over 90 receptions for the season in the Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins. He is just the second player in franchise history to reach 90 catches in a single season. Former WR Hines Ward accomplished the feat four times.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown was benched late in the team's Week 9 loss to the New England Patriots after missing an assignment that led to an interception.

Fantasy Tip: Brown had five catches (nine targets) for 71 yards and a score against the Patriots. Mike Tomlin was trying to send a message that everyone on the team is accountable after an embarrassing defeat. Brown shouldn't lose any playing time because of this moving forward.

Steelers | Antonio Brown ruffling feathers

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger recently had a talk with WR Antonio Brown about his complaints on the sideline. He said on a local radio show that he told Brown if he's going to complain on the sideline, he needs to make the big plays when they are there for him. Head coach Mike Tomlin also mentioned Brown's mishaps in his Week 8 post-game press conference. "We came away from that drive with no points because of an interception on third down that went through Antonio Brown's hands and was picked off by their cornerback," Tomlin said.

Jets | Antonio Cromartie has hyperextended knee

New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie's (knee) MRI exam showed only a hyperextended knee. His status for the Week 6 is up in the air against the Pittsburgh Steelers. CB Dee Milliner (hamstring) has missed the past two games, as well, and isn't expected to play this weekend.

Fantasy Tip: If Cromartie doesn't play, bump up Antonio Brown a bit in your weekly rankings.
