Pittsburgh Steelers LB Larry Foote thinks OLB Jason Worilds, not rookie Jarvis Jones, will start in place of James Harrison, who left via free agency. "It's going to be difficult [for Jones to start immediately]," Foote said. "There is so much technique, [knowing] where to line up, inside or outside." Foote said, however, that at least Jones played in a 3-4 as a Georgia Bulldog.
Fantasy Tip: Jones could make fantasy noise in the second half of sack-friendly IDP formats, though, so don't write him off as a late-rounds gamble.

When organized team activities (OTAs) open Tuesday, May 21, the Pittsburgh Steelers will have at least three new faces among the starters. LB Jason Worilds is in for the departed James Harrison (Bengals) at outside lineback, NT Steve McLendon is in for free-agent Casey Hampton at nose tackle, and CB Cortez Allen takes over for CB Keenan Lewis (Saints) at cornerback.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not 100 percent sold about having LB Jason Worilds as a starter because of his inexperience and his inability to stay healthy. The team has their eyes on at least three outside linebacker free agents that they consider young and underutilized. The team likely would only be willing to pay a free agent $3 million or $4 million a season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not sure if LB Jason Worilds is ready to become a full-time starter because they have not had many full offseasons to work with him.

The Pittsburgh Steelers plan to use LB LaMarr Woodley in a rotation with LB Jason Worilds early in Week 5 in order to keep Woodley fresh for the fourth quarter, particularly against a mobile quarterback like Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick. The Steelers, however, will not have Woodley and LB James Harrison (knee) - who will also be used in a rotation - out of the game at the same time. The coaching staff wants to make sure their best players are fresh when the game might be on the line after the defense blew leads of 24-14 and 31-21 in the fourth quarter of their Week 3 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
