"I would say, honestly, and this is just me being real 100 percent, I would say Darrelle Revis (is the No. 1 cornerback in the league)," Haden said. "I studied tape on guys, and I try to look and see what I can do to get my game to be on their levels, (and) I feel like I'm honestly the No. 2 cornerback in the league. That's just my opinion, personally."

If Haden is not able to play, CBs Sheldon Brown and Buster Skrine would be the starters with CB Trevin Wade lining up as the nickel back. Haden's suspension began in Week 2, when the Browns played the Bengals in Cincinnati. Green had seven catches for 58 yards and a touchdown; however, Haden's absence had a domino effect on the secondary that resulted in three touchdown passes for QB Andy Dalton. Green had big plays in both games against the Browns last season, and Haden is looking for payback. "I definitely feel like (I owe him one)," Haden said. "I honestly put him with the top – no, at the top - of the receivers I've played against. Because he does a little bit of everything. I've played against Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson. I like A.J. (ahead of them)."

However, he allowed just one grab for 10 yards in the final 30 minutes. "I do believe early in the game, Joe wasn't challenging like he normally does," defensive coordinator Dick Jauron said Thursday, Nov. 17. "Early they had a couple of catches on him. Joe can force the issue. He's good enough to force the issue all the time. We have to remind him at times. Over the course of the game, he did a nice job." Haden ended up with three passes broken up, and he is third in the NFL with 13.
