The Sports Network reports the Boston Red Sox accepted P Armando Zerpa back from the Los Angeles Dodgers Monday, March 15. The Dodgers selected Zerpa in the Rule 5 Draft.

MLB.com reports the Los Angeles Dodgers acquired Ps Carlos Monasterios from the New York Mets and Armando Zerpa from the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday, Dec. 10. The Dodgers paid cash for both players. Both players were selected in the Rule 5 Draft. Monasterios could compete for the No. 5 spot in the rotation and Zerpa could compete for a left-handed relief spot.
