The Cincinnati Reds have 28 players in spring training camp and need to make three more cuts prior to the start of the regular season, according to MLB.com's Mark Sheldon. OF Fred Lewis and 3B Juan Francisco are battling for the last spot on the bench, while RPs Jose Arredondo, Jared Burton, Matt Maloney and Logan Ondrusek are vying for the final two spots in the bullpen.

RP's Jose Arredondo, Jared Burton, Sam LeCure, Logan Ondrusek, Bill Bray, Matt Maloney and Dontrelle Willis are thought to be in contention, with Bray likely getting a nod because he is out of options.

Cincinnati Reds RPs Bill Bray, Aroldis Chapman, Francisco Cordero, Nick Masset and Logan Ondrusek are expected to earn five of the team's spots in the bullpen, according to John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer. RPs Jose Arredondo, Jared Burton, Carlos Fisher, Daniel Herrera, Jordan Smith and Dontrelle Willis are in the mix for the remaining spots, with Ps Sam LeCure and Matt Maloney still under consideration for both the starting rotation and the bullpen. Assuming he remains healthy, Arredondo has a leg up on one of the final roster spots based on his performance in the Instructional League.
