The entire coaching staff of the Washington Nationals will return for the 2011 season, according to MLB.com's Bill Ladson. Bullpen coach Jim Lett, bench coach John McLaren and first-base coach Dan Radison will return for a second season, with third-base coach Pat Listach and hitting coach Rick Eckstein returning for a third season. Pitching coach Steve McCatty, who joined the staff in June 2009, is coming back for his second full season. It was announced that manager Jim Riggleman would return for a second full year last month.

Dave Sheinin, of The Washington Post, reports the Washington Nationals hired Jim Lett and Dan Radison to their coaching staff Friday, Nov. 20. Lett will serve as the bullpen coach and Radison will be the team's first-base coach next year.
