He is no longer on blood-thinning medication, and he is expected to begin a minor league rehab assignment Sunday, Aug. 21, with Class A Rancho Cucamonga. Barring any setbacks, he'll work for them again Tuesday, Aug. 23, and might come off the 15-day disabled list Friday, Aug. 26.
