Busch finished 13th in the Pure Michigan 400. Car chief Wesley Sherrill has also been placed on probation.

Tue, 14 Jun 2011 08:55:38 -0700 Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch and owner Joe Gibbs were penalized six championship owner and six championship driver points respectively for failing a post-race inspection after the Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway last weekend. Officials found that the No. 18 car's front left was too low. Crew chief Dave Rogers was also fined $25,000. Busch is fifth in the standings and now trails Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards for the lead by 31 points.
Tue, 27 Oct 2009 10:07:55 -0700 David Newton, of ESPN.com, reports Joe Gibbs Racing crew chief Dave Rogers, who works on driver Kyle Busch's Nationwide Series team, will take over as the crew chief in the Sprint Cup Series, replacing crew chief Steve Addington for the final three races of the season. Rogers' first race will be at Texas Motor Speedway next weekend. Addington will be reassigned at JGR.
