MLB executive Kim Ng is interviewing for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim general manager position Wednesday, Oct. 26. former Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Dan Evans will interview later this week, and the Angels are expected to ask for permission to interview Texas Rangers assistant GM Thad Levine after the World Series. New York Yankees executive Damon Oppenheimer is apparently out of the running.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are interested in Tampa Bay Rays executive vice president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, and Angels owner Arte Moreno and president John Carpino met with Friedman this week. The Angels also met with New York Yankees executive Damon Oppenheimer. The team is also looking at Arizona Diamondbacks assistant general manager Jerry Dipoto and Texas Rangers assistant general manager Thad Levine.
