Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said training camp and preseason games will determine how the team uses RBs Le'Veon Bell, LeGarrette Blount and Dri Archer in the running game.
Fantasy Tip: Bell is expected to receive most of the snaps at the position and should be taken in the first few rounds in most fantasy leagues. Blount probably should be considered as a handcuff to Bell or later-round flier in drafts. Archer likely will not be selected in a majority of drafts.

The Pittsburgh Steelers may consider keeping on RBs Le'Veon Bell, LeGarrette Blount and Dri Archer on their final roster and having one running back on their practice squad.
Mon, 30 Jun 2014 05:45:46 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell will likely see 300 carries this season, but not much more than that as the team will use RBs LeGarrette Blount and Dri Archer to spell him and keep him fresh.
Fantasy Tip: Bell should also see a handful of receptions to make him a serviceable RB1.
Thu, 12 Jun 2014 19:42:32 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount is being used in a variety of ways during practice. He has been lined up in the slot, flanked outside and has been in some two-back sets with RB Le'Veon Bell.
Fantasy Tip: Blount is known for his bruising running style, but the fact that the coaching staff is willing to toy around with using him in different ways is encouraging. If you draft Bell, Blount is definitely worth considering as a handcuff.
Wed, 11 Jun 2014 19:13:32 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount has "impressed" the coaching staff, and he figures to form a one-two punch with RB Le'Veon Bell. However, rookie RB Dri Archer could also work his way into the picture.
Sun, 01 Jun 2014 14:09:40 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount is expected to receive six to eight carries per game behind RB Le'Veon Bell.
Fantasy Tip: That renders him fairly useless in fantasy outside of being a handcuff. He'll have value in TD-heavy leagues if he figures into goal-line carries.

The New England Patriots were not willing to offer Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount a two-year deal this offseason and were not offering Blount much in the way of guaranteed money.

The Baltimore Ravens had interest in Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount but never made him a formal contract offer.
Fri, 28 Mar 2014 17:37:04 -0700
The Pittsburgh Steelers may use RB LeGarrette Blount as a kick returner next season, because he averaged 29.1 yards per return this season.
Fri, 28 Mar 2014 14:04:49 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB LeGarrette Blount was signed to a two-year, $3.85 million deal, which includes a $950,000 signing bonus.
