Updating a previous report, the Kansas City Royals signed C Manny Pina to a one-year, $480,425 contract Friday, Feb. 10. OF David Lough was signed for one-year, $480,000, 1B Clint Robinson will get one-year, 480,000, and OF Derrick Robinson will receive one-year and $480,000.

The Kansas City Royals signed Ps Sean O'Sullivan and Blake Wood to one-year deals Friday, Feb. 10. The team also inked Ps Nathan Adcock, Kelvin Herrera, Jeremy Jeffress, Everett Teaford and Ryan Verdugo, C Manny Pina, 1B Clint Robinson and OFs Jarrod Dyson, David Lough and Derrick Robinson.

The Kansas City Royals recalled OFs Lorenzo Cain and Jarrod Dyson from Triple-A Omaha after the game Tuesday, Sept. 20. They also promoted C Manny Pina and Ps Vin Mazzaro and Sean O'Sullivan from the Triple-A affiliate. P Kelvin Herrera had his contract purchased from Omaha, too.

Kansas City Royals C Manny Pina went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored Wednesday, Aug. 3, against the Baltimore Orioles. His double in the seventh inning was his first major league hit.

Confirming previous reports, the Kansas City Royals have placed C Matt Treanor (concussion) on the seven-day concussion list. In a corresponding move, C Manny Pina was recalled from Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
