Detroit Tigers RP Cody Satterwhite (shoulder) underwent season-ending surgery on his shoulder last month, according to MLB.com's Jason Beck.

Jason Beck, of MLB.com, reports Detroit Tigers RP Cody Satterwhite (shoulder) received a cortisone injection in his injured shoulder Monday, April 5, and will be watched closely over the next few weeks. Head athletic trainer Kevin Rand is calling Satterwhite's injury a posterior impingement in his right shoulder. Dr. James Andrews will examine Satterwhite Friday, April 9.

John Lowe, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Tigers RP Cody Satterwhite (shoulder) will open the 2010 season in the minors on the disabled list with a shoulder injury.

Steve Kornacki, of Booth Newspapers, reports the Detroit Tigers issued 13 spring training invites to players Tuesday, Jan. 26. Included on the invite list were SS Gustavo Nunez, Cs Robinzon Diaz, Mike Rabelo, John Murrian, Eric Roof and Max St. Pierre, IFs Kory Casto and Jeff Larish, and Ps Cody Satterwhite, Robbie Weinhardt, Phil Dumatrait, Enrique Gonzalez and Josh Rainwater.

Jason Beck, of MLB.com, reports Detroit Tigers OF Ryan Strieby, P Cody Satterwhite, P Robbie Weinhardt, P Thad Weber, SS Cale Iorg and IF Scott Sizemore will play for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League.
