Milwaukee Brewers minor league SS Jeff Bianchi (forearm), currently playing for Triple-A Nashville, is expected to be activated from the minor league disabled list Saturday, May 26. He had been sidelined because of a forearm strain.

Kansas City Royals SS Jeff Bianchi (elbow), one of the Royals' top prospects at shortstop, is back after missing the entire 2010 season because of reconstructive elbow surgery. According to MLB.com's Dick Kaegel, Bianchi underwent surgery 11 months ago March 19. He was able to resume some throwing and hitting about five months later. "I got to a point now where I'm feeling great," Bianchi said. "It's been a long process with the throwing program."

Royals.MLB.com's Dick Kaegel reports the Kansas City Royals optioned P Noel Arguelles to Single-A Wilmington, SS Jeff Bianchi to Double-A Northwest Arkansas and sent OF Jordan Parraz and C Manny Pina to undisclosed minor league locations. OF Buck Coats, P Adam Bostick and P Nelson Payano were reassigned.
