Baltimore Orioles RP Zach Braddock (shoulder) is recovering from surgery to fix a torn labrum in his pitching shoulder as he attempts to win a spot on the roster this spring. He started a throwing program last month but there is no timetable for him to throw off a mound.

The Baltimore Orioles signed free-agent Ps Zach Braddock (Brewers) and Daniel Schlereth (Tigers) to minor-league contracts Wednesday, Dec. 19. Both players received an invitation to spring training.

Milwaukee Brewers Ps Manny Parra and Zach Braddock are favorites to win spots in the bullpen this spring, especially after Juan Perez (lung) was hospitalized with a collapsed lung. Perez was released from the hospital Tuesday, March 13, but will be rested for a week.
